Ms. April Barnes is a graduate of Miami-Dade Public Schools (Southridge) and Bethune-Cookman University. After graduating she taught for 2 years in Hollywood, Florida before moving to Columbia, South Carolina. She worked at Annie Burnside Elementary teaching Math and Science in grades 2-5 for 20 years before deciding to return home. Mrs. A barnes is really excited to be back in Miami and looks forward to having a fun and productive year.
